Overview
In this role you will lead the introduction of new semiconductor products from development to high-volume manufacturing, ensuring a smooth transfer to production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve testability, manufacturability, and product quality for high-performance optical and analog/mixed-signal ICs. Your focus is on achieving robust test coverage, reliable characterization, and production readiness while driving improvements across yield and cost. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position that shapes NPI programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Drive NPI from concept to production release and manufacturing transfer
- Coordinate Design, Test, Validation, Quality, Reliability, Applications, Marketing, and Operations teams
- Manage NPI milestones, release documentation, and manufacturing readiness
- Define and implement DFT/DFM requirements and optimize ATE test programs
- Finalize datasheet specifications and production test limits
- Support characterization plans across PVT, analyze data, and perform DOE and yield modeling
- Monitor manufacturing yield and quality metrics; support CAPA and failure analysis
- Collaborate with foundries and OSAT partners to resolve production issues and drive cost reductions
Key requirements
- Experience in semiconductor product/test engineering
- Knowledge of semiconductor physics and analog/mixed-signal ICs
- Experience with statistical analysis and tools such as Excel or JMP
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Strong analytical thinking
