You will unite cross-organisational partners to shape local responses, oversee plans, risks and funding, and adapt to national policy changes. Responsibilities
- lead a broad portfolio including resettlement, asylum dispersal, integration, and community cohesion
- engage partners across organisations to align plans and actions
- develop clear project plans, manage risks, and oversee funded and commissioned activity
- support the Council’s response to changing national policy
- engage with and respond to Gypsy Roma Traveller engagement and unauthorised encampments
Key requirements
- experience of asylum, refugee or resettlement policy and working with this cohort
- experienced programme leader capable of cross-boundary collaboration
- ability to turn complex issues into practical actions
