Overview

In this role you will handle a varied dispute resolution and litigation caseload within a growing Clifton-based law firm. You will support the department on complex matters, engage with clients and professionals, and drive high-quality advocacy and drafting. The role blends litigation across courts, mediation, and arbitration with business development and client service. You work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that values precision and professional presentation. A strong focus on delivering practical solutions will help you shape outcomes for clients while supporting the department’s growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload across commercial and property litigation, and High Court/County Court matters
  • Handle mediation and arbitration claims
  • Support Head of Department on complex matters
  • Liaise with clients and other professionals
  • Draft legal documents and provide advocacy
  • Manage your own files from start to finish
  • Engage in marketing and business development activities

Key requirements

  • NQ-2 years PQE with litigation experience
  • Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules
  • Strong academic background (2:1 degree preferred)
  • Aptitude for business development and marketing
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in MS Office (including Outlook)
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask and prioritise
  • Confidence working independently and in a team
  • Strong problem solving and client-focused approach
