Overview

In this role you will support the Commercial Property Management team in Manchester, handling day-to-day management of a portfolio and building strong client relationships. You will work with landlords, occupiers, and external partners, addressing tenancy matters, inspections, and service charge processes while contributing to ESG and asset performance. This is an opportunity to develop within a large, established platform and gain exposure to client advisory and asset-level strategy. You will be at the core of delivering effective property management across Offices, Retail and Industrial assets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day landlord and occupier matters across a commercial property portfolio
  • Conduct regular property inspections and resolve issues
  • Support lease management tasks including licences to alter, assignments, underlettings and tenant compliance
  • Monitor lease covenants and coordinate with occupiers to resolve issues
  • Assist with service charge budgets, reconciliations and cash-flow forecasting per RICS guidance
  • Monitor income, arrears and other financial information
  • Collaborate with facilities management, contractors and external suppliers
  • Support ESG and sustainability initiatives across managed assets
  • Assist onboarding and transition of new properties and client instructions
  • Support refurbishment, maintenance and major works programmes
  • Manage vacant properties ensuring compliance and insurance
  • Build relationships with occupiers and gather feedback to support clients
  • Produce client reports and participate in client meetings
  • Identify opportunities to improve asset performance and service delivery

Key requirements

  • Experience in commercial property management (consultancy or owner/investor)
  • Working towards MRICS or recently qualified
  • Experience managing commercial property
  • Understanding of landlord and tenant matters and commercial leases
  • Exposure to service charges, property inspections and occupier management
  • Commercially aware and comfortable dealing with clients
