Shift Maintenance Engineer

Overview

In this role, you maintain and repair equipment in a GMP cleanroom facility, supporting production targets and TPM-driven improvements. You mentor operators, minimize contamination sources, and drive reliability with timely maintenance. You work closely with the Reliability Manager to manage projects and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment in GMP cleanroom manufacturing
• Support production targets and quality finished products
• Mentor operators and promote operational discipline
• Manage small installation projects with the Reliability Manager
• Address breakdowns proactively and perform effective breakdown analysis
• Execute preventative maintenance (PPMs) and use CMMS for workload prioritization
• Participate in TPM activities and PM pillar
• Ensure hygiene and cleanroom standards and site housekeeping 5S
• Understand process safety and regulatory compliance

Key requirements

• Accredited apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Solid technical understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
• Minimum 10 years of experience
• Good understanding of TPM principles (advantage)
• No immigration sponsorship available
