Overview

As a Project Engineering Lead, you drive system-level solutions for mission-critical defence technologies. You’ll align with engineering management to set realistic delivery plans and lead cross-disciplinary teams through design, integration, and test challenges. You’ll shape decisions, ensure lifecycle processes are followed, and communicate progress to stakeholders. This role offers impact across cutting-edge programmes while working within a collaborative, security-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and assess system-level issues from lab testing, integration and flight trials
  • Lead technical investigations and redesign activities per project priorities
  • Create realistic delivery plans and secure resource alignment with Engineering Management
  • Ensure adherence to Lifecycle Management and project engineering processes
  • Collaborate with Engineering Management and Chief Engineers to enable quick decisions
  • Establish and maintain cross-disciplinary communications across project and engineering teams
  • Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary engineering team
  • Ensure the team is equipped and supported to meet commitments

Key requirements
