Overview

In this role you will support the Bank’s tax function by managing corporation tax reporting and compliance for a large balance sheet. You will work closely with the Finance & Performance Directorate to ensure accurate tax disclosures and reporting, including R&D tax credit claims. The position offers exposure to banking tax matters within a prestigious public institution and a chance to contribute to financial stability. You will shape tax reporting processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain robust tax governance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare year-end corporation tax reporting schedules with tax disclosures for the annual accounts
  • Review the corporation tax return
  • Support the Bank in identifying and reporting Research and Development Tax Credit Claims

Key requirements

  • Chartered Accountant or Chartered Tax Adviser Qualification
  • Banking tax experience
