Overview

In this IT Program Manager role, you will oversee the UK Field Delivery program portfolio, driving governance, reporting, and continuous improvement across IT infrastructure and services. You’ll collaborate with local, regional, and global teams to align initiatives with Amazon’s operations, enabling efficient support for First, Middle, and Last Mile activities. Expect to manage KPIs, capacity planning, and risk—balancing speed with quality in a fast-paced, operational environment. You will shape cross-functional processes and tooling adoption to sustain scalable, data-driven delivery. This is a hands-on role for delivering impact at scale within Amazon’s Field Delivery operations.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the UK Field Delivery program portfolio with clear status updates for senior leadership
  • Define governance, reporting cadences, and escalation paths for Field Delivery initiatives
  • Define and measure KPIs for program and project performance across the UK portfolio
  • Support resource demand forecasting and capacity planning for Field Delivery teams
  • Drive process improvement initiatives using data to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Deployment, Field Support, Engineering, Service Management) to align priorities and remove blockers
  • Support definition, testing, and adoption of program management tooling and SOPs
  • Represent UK Field Delivery in regional and global PMO forums for alignment on standards
  • Proactively manage change control and communicate scope impact; identify risks and contingency plans
  • Maintain documentation and ensure exceptional internal customer service
  • Update or develop documentation on processes critical to delivering Field Delivery initiatives

Key requirements

  • Experience in program or project management
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
  • Customer-facing role with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while managing multiple responsibilities
