Overview
In this role you own the multi-platform programming calendar for QVC UK, translating commercial priorities into an integrated schedule across TV and digital. You lead planning and events across platforms, shaping content to support sales, growth, and new customer acquisition. You establish governance, standards, and performance routines, working with cross-functional teams. You balance creativity with measurable outcomes and oversee the Programming team. This is a hybrid role based in West London, contributing to ambitious live social shopping initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Own the multi-platform programming calendar and ensure aligned execution across TV and digital with timely delivery.
- Lead category and mixed-event programming, aligning content with commercial and operational priorities.
- Oversee scheduling resources and handoffs to guest, studio, digital, social and content teams.
- Define and improve programming standards and playbooks (slot allocation, events, hero placement, scheduling).
- Use audience, traffic, platform productivity and campaign performance trends to identify risks and opportunities for in-month optimization.
- Maintain market awareness and adapt plans to external events and product availability.
- Review and sign off the multi-highlight calendar and event strategy within guardrails.
- Recommend trade-offs and escalate conflicts across priorities.
- Lead and develop the Programming team, fostering engagement and performance.
Key requirements
- Significant experience in programming, scheduling, content planning or a closely related commercial/broadcast/multi-platform environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to interpret KPIs related to sales, productivity, conversion, audience, traffic, and customer growth.
- Proven experience in leading, developing and motivating a team with strong resilience and judgment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with ability to influence at different levels.
- Ability to balance creativity, customer needs, commercial priorities and governance.
