Overview
In this role, you will support engineering, new product introduction and continuous improvement within the plant. You’ll work with cross-functional teams across Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Maintenance to drive KPI improvements, ensure on-time production, and reduce scrap. You will manage engineering changes from design through to production and support electro-pneumatic test equipment. You’ll partner with NPI engineers to implement new products and processes on existing and new lines. This is a hands-on role in a safety-focused, collaborative environment with real impact on manufacturing performance.

Responsibilities
- Drive cross-functional actions to improve plant KPIs (production attainment, efficiency, quality, scrap reduction)
- Manage and implement engineering change requests from design to production
- Support electro-pneumatic production test equipment and monitor key process parameters
- Recommend data-driven corrective actions based on monitoring results
- Collaborate with NPI Project engineers to implement new products and process improvements on production lines
Key requirements
- Background in Mechanical / Electrical / Process engineering with manufacturing experience
- Ideally degree level; HNC or relevant qualifications with industrial experience considered
- Experience with automated assembly management systems and production IT systems
- Proven track record delivering value and solving internal customer problems with urgency
- Strong cross-functional communication and interpersonal skills
- Practical problem-solving approach using A3 / 8D methodologies and data-driven decisions
