Overview
In this role you will manage clinical project budgets from proposal through execution, ensuring accurate cost tracking and timely invoicing. You will work within PSI’s Finance function to support contract management and budget-driven decision making on global trials. You collaborate across departments and with sponsors to maintain financial controls, accruals, and change orders that align with project goals. This position offers hybrid work in Oxford or remote UK and a chance to shape budgets for a diverse portfolio in the pharmaceutical industry. You will contribute to PSI’s growth by delivering clear financial insights that support high-quality trial execution.
Responsibilities
- Development and management of study budgets for proposals and ongoing projects
- Maintenance of project finance data in internal systems; accrual reporting and invoice requests
- Preparation of Sponsor Contracts and change orders; development of payment schedules
- Setup and upkeep of project-specific timesheets; reconciliation of actual vs budgeted costs
Key requirements
- College or University degree, preferably in Finance/Economics
- At least 3 years’ experience in project budgeting and financial analysis in a CRO
- CEFR level C1 in English
- Proficiency in MS Office, advanced MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills
