Overview

In this role, you will build the analytical and financial foundations for Autodesk’s AI investments, focusing on adoption, monetization, cost modeling, and strategic planning for Foundation Models. You will work at the center of Autodesk’s AI transformation, delivering forecast, ROI, and decision-support insights that shape product roadmaps and cross‑team execution. You will translate telemetry into monetization strategies and prepare executive-ready narratives to guide leadership decisions. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that combines finance, data analytics, and AI infrastructure economics.

Responsibilities

  • Build analytical and financial models to quantify AI impact across platform and industry groups
  • Develop forecasts for AI adoption, revenue influence, costs, margin, and long-term planning
  • Create business cases and decision-ready analyses for investment, monetization, pricing, and leadership reviews
  • Model cloud, GPU, and inference economics including cost-to-serve and scaling implications
  • Translate product telemetry into monetization insights and pricing opportunities
  • Create executive- and Board-ready presentations communicating strategic recommendations
  • Develop repeatable dashboards and reporting frameworks to enable data-driven execution across Product, Finance, and Engineering teams
  • Operate independently, driving progress in an ambiguous environment

Key requirements

  • 5+ years in business strategy, analytics, finance, operations, product strategy, or related analytical roles
  • Experience building financial/operating models across adoption, usage, revenue, COGS, margin, ROI
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; Excel; SQL or Python familiarity
  • Experience with cloud, GPU, and inference cost structures or ability to ramp quickly on AI infrastructure economics
  • Ability to create executive-ready presentations and strategic narratives
  • Strong communication skills and ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Self-starter with cross-functional collaboration across stakeholders
