Overview
Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join Stantec’s Environmental Services Team and lead geotechnical work on major UK & Ireland infrastructure programmes. You will translate ground conditions into design intelligence, supervise complex desk studies and reports, and mentor graduate engineers. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and champion digital workflows to improve ground investigation and design processes. Responsibilities
- lead complex desk studies and interpretative geotechnical reports
- analyze sophisticated geotechnical structures
- coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to provide ground risk intelligence
- mentor graduate and junior engineers
- advocate for digital workflows and data tools in ground investigation and design processes
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or related discipline
- Chartered member of ICE or Geological Society, or in final stages of achieving chartership
- extensive experience in desk studies, site inspections, interpretative geotechnical reports and analysis of geotechnical structures
