Overview

In this senior role, you will lead Chadwick Nott’s Bristol Trusts and Estates Tax team, managing a high-net-worth client portfolio and shaping the service offering. You will steer strategic development, oversee performance and compliance, and drive process improvements across the firm. Your work will blend leadership with technical tax expertise to support growth of the Trusts and Estates practice. This is an opportunity to influence a regional law firm’s direction in a complex, regulated area.

Pay / Benefits

  • Competitive salary 65,000–85,000 DOE

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the Trusts and Estates Tax team
  • Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth trusts and estates
  • Conduct KPI and SRA matter reviews
  • Oversee team financials and operational performance
  • Provide trust administration and tax compliance services
  • Support technical advisory queries across the firm
  • Drive internal process improvements and external initiatives
  • Assist with FATCA, TRS, and CRS reporting
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic development
  • Support growth of the firm’s Trust Corporation offering

Key requirements

  • Extensive experience in trust taxation, administration, and management
  • Familiarity with trust account preparation and compliance
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Experience mentoring junior colleagues

  • Experience with Trust Corporations (preferred)
