Structural Design Engineer

Overview

In this role you will contribute to the design and delivery of large-scale Data Center projects from a London base, working within a high-performing team that supports international collaboration. You will lead structural design activities, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide technical leadership across project phases. The position focuses on delivering precise, innovative solutions for mission-critical infrastructure at scale. Responsibilities

• Design and deliver structural solutions for Data Center projects across Europe and beyond
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders through all project phases
• Provide technical leadership on design packages from concept through construction
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes (Eurocodes, British Standards) and industry standards
• Support and potentially lead design efforts in coordination with clients and sub-consultants

Key requirements

• 5–8 years’ post-graduate structural engineering experience
• Proven experience delivering Data Centers or other mission-critical facilities
• Advanced knowledge of steel and reinforced concrete design (foundations, frames, detailing)
• Proficiency in ETABS, Robot, Tekla Structural Designer, or STAAD.Pro
• Familiarity with Eurocodes and British Standards; knowledge of international standards preferred
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
• Chartered or working towards CEng – IStructE or ICE preferred
