As a Maintenance Technician in Kerry’s Engineering team, you maintain, repair, calibrate, and improve instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical equipment to ensure safe, efficient plant operation. Responsibilities
- Demonstrate safety-first mindset and complete risk assessments and quality handback forms
- Promote safety culture and adhere to QSHE standards and Kerry policies
- Develop and maintain SOPs for repeatable maintenance activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and work with cross-functional teams
- Identify improvements and implement effective solutions with the maintenance function
- Collaborate with production to transfer technical knowledge and optimise asset care
- Liaise with OEMs and external suppliers for technical support
- Prioritise maintenance activities to minimise downtime and optimise throughput
- Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) per schedules
- Diagnose faults, test, repair, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical equipment
- Record defects and relevant SAP CMMS data; maintain engineering records and update SAP/SCADA systems
- Contribute to site KAMS excellence and escalate issues when needed
- Maintain 5S standards in workshops and stores
- Undertake additional tasks or projects as assigned by management
Key requirements
- Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering Trade Qualification, Diploma, or Degree
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting across instrumentation, control, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Experience with CMMS (SAP) and maintenance planning
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to interpret CAD drawings for electrical, mechanical, and facility applications
- Fluent in English and local site language
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills; strong documentation abilities
- Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing; continuous improvement experience
- CAD and programming knowledge
- Asset care and preventative maintenance knowledge
