Maintenance Engineer

Overview

As Maintenance Engineer on nights, you keep production lines running by performing PPM and reactive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, and supporting refrigeration systems. You will work with Production and Engineering to maximise uptime, contribute to site improvements, and develop your skills in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. This role offers night shifts, enhanced overtime, and ongoing training within a stable, growing business.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
• Support maintenance activities on industrial refrigeration systems
• Complete maintenance documentation and shift reports
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to maximise uptime and performance
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site

Key requirements

• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
• Experience working on industrial plant and equipment
• Industrial refrigeration experience would be highly advantageous
• Ability to work independently within a night shift environment
