Project Manager with Applications

Overview

As a Project Manager focused on applications, you will lead varied IT projects from ideation through delivery, bridging application development and infrastructure needs. You will collaborate with business users and management within a growing team, shaping project scope and outcomes. You’ll work across environments and travel UK, ensuring successful implementation and value delivery. This role offers the chance to drive diverse projects in a dynamic IT/education-enabled landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle for application development and related infrastructure
• Engage stakeholders from ideation to delivery and implementation
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage communications across the project
• Apply formal methodologies (PRINCE2/Agile/PMP or similar) to drive project success
• Interact with user communities and management to gather requirements and validate outcomes
• Occasional UK travel with potential international opportunities
• Based in Milton Keynes with an easy commute
• Contribute to a growing, flexible project portfolio

Key requirements

• 5–8 years of broad-based project management experience
• Background from Business Analyst or Software Developer
• Experience delivering from business engagement through design, build, test to implementation
• Knowledge of applying development projects with alignment to infrastructure
• Formal qualifications in Prince2/Agile/PMP or similar (useful)
• Willingness to travel UK (and potentially internationally)
• Based in Milton Keynes or commutable from there
