Overview

As IT Project Manager at Raytheon UK, you will lead the delivery of complex, business-critical technology projects within a collaborative IT team. You will drive transformation, governance, and value realization across cross-functional stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of multiple IT projects from initiation to completion, meeting objectives on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain project plans, resources, schedules, risks, dependencies, and governance
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, third-party suppliers, and stakeholders to drive outcomes
  • Monitor performance, budgets, timelines; proactively address risks, issues, and scope changes
  • Produce clear project documentation, reports, and stakeholder communications with regular progress updates
  • Ensure compliance with security, quality, and governance standards while delivering measurable business value

Key requirements

  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end IT projects with planning, budgeting, resource management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement
  • Lead technology projects through full lifecycle from design and business case to handover
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and adapting approaches
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management across all organisational levels
  • Proficiency with project management/scheduling tools (MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent) and strong MS Office skills
  • PRINCE2 and/or PMP certification; experience in regulated/delivery environments advantageous
