Technical Manager

Overview

In this role you support the Technical Director to drive development programmes for residential projects in London and surrounding areas. You will coordinate external consultants, manage construction information and costs, and oversee site progress and issue resolution. You’ll liaise across internal and external teams to keep projects on track and focus on value engineering, particularly for show home delivery. The position offers a vibrant team environment with clear career progression in a busy residential developer setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Technical Director in development programme preparation
• Coordinate and manage external consultants for construction information, sales and conveyance information
• Attend site progress meetings and conduct site inspections
• Review and update development cost schedules monthly; agree actions with Technical Director
• Liaise and coordinate between internal and external parties
• Respond to site queries and resolve technical/construction issues
• Review value engineering opportunities with a focus on show home delivery

Key requirements

• Technically qualified with experience in the residential sector
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders (external consultants, internal teams)
• Knowledge of development cost schedules and value engineering
• Experience with site inspections and progress monitoring
