Bid Manager – Civil Engineering

In this role you will lead and drive the bid team to win high-profile tenders in Civils & Infrastructure. You will coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, manage bid programmes and budgets, and ensure a compelling quality submission. The position sits in the Pre-Construction team and supports growth within a leading contractor. Responsibilities

• Lead bid team to secure successful tender outcomes
• Manage tender programme and budget, track actions and resources
• Coordinate internal meetings (kickoff, settlements) and assign responsibilities
• Oversee commercial and technical inputs from internal and external partners
• Interface with client, Employers Agent, JV partners and supply chain
• Direct designers and specialists to achieve optimal tender solutions
• Contribute to tender commercial strategy and risk/opportunity management
• Ensure quality submission readiness and timely deliverables
• Handover successful tenders to project delivery team
• Document learnings and provide tender feedback to stakeholders

Key requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Previous Bid Manager experience for a main contractor in Civil Engineering & Infrastructure
• Proven success with high-profile tenders
• 7+ years post-graduate experience
• Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships
