In this role you will lead and shape major water projects across the UK and Ireland, partnering with key clients to improve water supply, treatment and distribution. You’ll mentor and manage project teams, taking solutions from initial need through detailed design within time and budget constraints. The position offers UK-wide collaboration on iconic projects and a clear path to Principal Civil Engineer with strong support for your career development. Responsibilities
- Develop solutions from need to detailed design within project constraints
- Lead and support project teams across stages
- Undertake scoping and design within timescales and budgets
- Produce and check technical reports
- Collaborate on UK-wide water projects and mentor engineers
Key requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Chartered status preferred; membership of a relevant engineering institution
- Experience in the water industry preferred
- Knowledge of Process and MEICA disciplines preferred
- Understanding of environmental issues including net carbon preferred, not essential
- Ability to manage projects and lead team members
