Overview

In this role, you oversee design management for a major housing-focused project portfolio. You will coordinate with Design Consultants and ensure design work on site meets benchmarking standards and specifications. You’ll compile design records for project completion and certification, and contribute to post-project reviews to capture learnings. Working on complex schemes, you’ll help deliver high-quality conversions and refurbishments that align with the company’s mission in housing and regeneration. This opportunity offers hands-on impact on a landmark Grade II listed building conversion in East London and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage Design Consultants and oversee their work
• Regularly monitor site design quality to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
• Compile and present completed design records required for project completion and certification
• Participate in post-project reviews to capture learnings

Key requirements

• Level 4 qualification (HNC/NVQ4 etc)
• Proven track record of programming and design management
• Up to date knowledge of building legislations and procedures
• Valid driving licence
