Employment Solicitor (Partner)

Overview

As an Employment Partner in Bristol, you join a national law firm to grow an established practice with your client following. You will advise employers and executives, handle complex disputes, and support corporate transactions while shaping the Bristol employment offering. You work cross‑functionally with the national network to scale the practice and deepen client relationships. This role offers autonomy with strong platform support to develop a significant, high‑impact practice. You will contribute to the firm’s growth and reputation in the South West.

Responsibilities

• Advise employers and senior executives on a broad range of matters
• Handle complex employment disputes and tribunal litigation
• Advise on senior exits, covenants, discrimination and whistleblowing
• Support employment aspects of corporate transactions and restructures
• Develop and maintain long-standing client relationships
• Proactively drive business development and generate new opportunities
• Collaborate with colleagues across the national network
• Contribute to strategic growth of the Bristol employment practice
