Overview
In this role you will deliver expert UK/US personal tax guidance to US expatriates and high-net-worth individuals. You will support the growth of the firm’s US-UK private client practice by offering strategic tax planning and compliant tax computations. You work closely with a technical team to provide accurate, client-centric service across cross-border jurisdictions. The role offers exposure to high-value clients in a supportive, technically rigorous environment with clear opportunities for professional growth. Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance on complex personal tax matters (UK/US)
- Prepare and review tax computations
- Manage client relationships and deliver high-quality client service
- Contribute to innovative tax solutions aligned with regulatory changes
- Support compliance and accuracy in all tax work
- Address cross-border tax planning needs for international private clients
Key requirements
- Experience in UK and US personal tax in a professional services or private client setting
- In-depth knowledge of US and UK tax legislation (CGT, IHT, Income Tax, National Insurance)
- Familiarity with US tax implications for UK-based HNWIs (FBAR, FATCA, cross-border reporting)
