Overview
In this Enterprise Product role, you will shape and deliver customer-focused experiences across the Underwriting journey. You’ll own multi-year product strategy and roadmaps, translating customer and business needs into innovative solutions within a cross-functional, agile environment. You’ll drive measurable value aligned to Vitality’s ambitions, influencing stakeholders and continuously improving customer outcomes. This is a commercially minded, collaborative opportunity to solve complex problems and elevate the customer experience at scale.

Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the medium to long-term product strategy for a complex customer journey
- Own and evolve the product roadmap and backlog aligned to customer needs and business goals
- Lead product discovery, research and ideation using customer insight and data
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to bring ideas to market
- Act as voice of the customer during delivery to ensure outstanding experience
- Plan and deliver journey epics, manage dependencies, risks, costs and priorities
- Translate requirements into features, user stories with acceptance criteria
- Use metrics and feedback to evaluate effectiveness and drive improvement
- Drive process optimization across journeys to improve outcomes
- Monitor market trends and competition to keep products innovative and commercially effective
Key requirements
- Degree educated or equivalent professional experience
- Experience managing complex product roadmaps and backlogs in digital/tech environments
- Strong experience with Agile delivery and cross-functional teams
- Ability to lead workshops and align technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication
- Strong analytical skills with data and customer insight for decision making
- Experience documenting features, user stories, acceptance criteria and artefacts
- Proven ability to balance customer value, commercial priorities and delivery
- Passion for improving customer experiences and championing customer needs
- Collaborative with engineering, UX, research and business teams
- Commercial awareness to assess value, trade-offs, risks and benefits
- Experience using Jira, Aha or similar PM platforms advantageous
- Knowledge of digital analytics, conversion optimization, journey mapping or web technologies beneficial
- Scrum Product Owner certification or related Agile qualifications advantageous
