Overview

In this role you will provide plant-wide maintenance and support new installations within a fast-paced GMP environment. You will collaborate with the Operational Maintenance Engineering team to prevent downtime and drive improvements that sustain patient-focused manufacturing. You will tackle automation and robotics-related challenges, contributing to high-quality product delivery. This opportunity combines hands-on maintenance with projects that shape site efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment
  • Raise corrective and reactive maintenance dockets on Maximo
  • Assist with queries to identify improvements to the stores system
  • Review and improve planned and preventative maintenance procedures
  • Resolve issues promptly and escalate when needed
  • Identify site-wide improvement opportunities
  • Deliver all activities to GMP standards

Key requirements

  • HNC or equivalent in electrical and/or mechanical engineering
  • Strong electrical fault finding with schematics, wiring, and circuitry
  • Electrical knowledge and PLC experience (ideally Allen Bradley) with fault finding
  • Experience with control panels, automation and robotics
  • Solid electrical safety knowledge, CCT and controller basics
  • Good mechanical knowledge and overall engineering understanding in a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
