External Site Manager – Residential – Buckinghamshire

Overview

In this role you will oversee external works on a flagship residential scheme in Buckinghamshire, with a focus on brickwork packages. You will lead a team on site, coordinate subcontractors, and report to the Project Manager. The position sits within a high-quality, luxury housing context, contributing to the delivery of premium homes. You will help drive safe, efficient external construction and quality outcomes for a growing regional developer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee brickwork packages and external works on site
• Manage and supervise subcontractors and trades, particularly bricklayers
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and site team to track progress and resolve issues
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards (SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid)
• Lead on-site activities and communicate progress to stakeholders
• Manage assistants and on-site labor reporting into you
• Contribute to efficient delivery on a flagship development
• Maintain records of works and ensure timely close-out of packages

Key requirements

• Experience overseeing brickwork packages and managing/subcontractors
• Brickwork trade background (bonus)
• CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certificates
• Full UK Driving Licence
• External works experience
• Crew leadership on large residential schemes
