Overview

In this role you will support a broad client base in the lifecycle of regulated investment funds. You will work with asset managers and investors on launches, restructurings and ongoing fund operations within a market-leading funds practice. Collaborative cross-team work, exposure to high-quality matters, and a pathway to develop a strong private-practice profile are offered in a supportive firm culture. You will contribute to regulatory and documentation work, with opportunities to influence deals and product filings. This role combines client engagement with technical fund knowledge in a global context.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on launch, restructuring and operation of regulated funds (e.g., UCITS) for asset managers
  • Draft, review and negotiate fund documents (custody/depositary, administration, investment management, distribution, platform agreements)
  • Support corporate transactions involving asset and wealth managers (acquisitions, disposals, restructurings)
  • Prepare retail investment product and service documentation
  • Represent institutional investors in fund investments
  • Collaborate with regulatory specialists on financial services requirements

Key requirements

  • Around 2-3 years PQE in regulated funds
  • Strong understanding of financial services regulation and funds sector interest
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with guidance when needed
  • Commercial awareness and client-focused approach
