SAP S/4HANA Test Manager

Overview

In this SAP S/4 Test Manager role, you will own the programme-wide test strategy for a complex ERP rollout, coordinating testing across multiple streams and business teams. You drive planning, execution oversight, defect management, and reporting to ensure a successful go-live. You’ll ensure test phases are defined and executed, with robust data, environments, and cutover validation. This is a governance-focused position that plays a central role in achieving go-live readiness and stabilisation post-launch.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the programme-wide test strategy, approach and governance
• Define test phases including UT, SIT, UAT, regression, performance testing and cutover validation
• Prepare the master test plan with scope, timelines, environments, entry/exit criteria, resources and tools
• Coordinate testing activities across the programme
• Oversee SIT, UAT and regression test execution against plan
• Manage test data requirements, test environments and preconditions for each phase
• Review and approve test scripts, scenarios and acceptance criteria
• Establish and manage defect triage, prioritisation and resolution
• Maintain test RAID items and escalate critical defects/risks to programme leadership
• Act as the central point of contact for all test-related matters
• Provide regular test status reporting, dashboards and quality metrics
• Support go-live readiness, cutover validation and hypercare stabilisation
