Job Description:

We’re looking for a semi-skilled worker to join our client’s project in Penrith for a minimum of two weeks, with the possibility of an extension. This role is ideal for someone with experience in power tools and general labouring, looking to work on a hands-on construction site.

On-site role

Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 17:00

Responsibilities

  • Operate power tools including drills, breakers, and grinders
  • Carry out labouring duties, including fetching and carrying materials
  • Restore and maintain the integrity of concrete structures
  • Identify and repair structural damage using specialist techniques
  • Adhere to health and safety requirements on site

Must-have Requirements

  • Valid CSCS card
  • Ability to use and maintain power tools safely
  • Completion of Safety Critical Medical prior to starting (this will be carried out in Newcastle)

Nice-to-have Skills

  • Previous experience in concrete repair
  • Knowledge of structural maintenance techniques
