Senior Backend Engineer — Data Retention (Ruby, PostgreSQL)

GitLab is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and evolve data frameworks that scale across SaaS and self-managed deployments. You will focus on retention and lifecycle management, schema-change enforcement, and data health tooling in a fully remote, agile environment.

You’ll work with PostgreSQL and Ruby on Rails, collaborate with multiple teams, and help advance data safety, performance, and scalability across GitLab.com and self-managed instances.
