Overview

In this role, you will lead the UK potato procurement strategy within PepsiCo’s PEP+ framework, driving sustainable sourcing and productivity across the potato value chain. You will align supplier relationships, contracts, and financial planning with company priorities while ensuring compliant governance and quality. The position involves cross-functional collaboration to optimize supply, cost, and service metrics, delivering actionable scorecards and transparency to stakeholders. You’ll shape the UK potato agenda in a high-impact, globally connected procurement function.

Responsibilities

• Lead PEP+ aligned potato procurement, including commercial negotiations, supplier agreements, delivery optimization, and contract execution with UK suppliers
• Develop and manage AOP and PSP plans for UK potatoes, driving productivity and cash-flow improvements
• Oversee Potato Seed Supply Planning for the UK
• Maintain up-to-date financial models and reporting for AOP, PSP, and monthly forecasts
• Apply Global Control Standards, ensure GP policy compliance and proper controls documentation
• Ensure UK PC plants receive potatoes in correct quantity and quality around the clock
• Manage supplier relationships with performance reviews, forecasting, cost storage risk mitigation, and crop planning
• Provide periodic UK potato scorecards on cost, quality, and service KPIs; communicate developments to stakeholders
• Oversee supplier payments, settlements and pre-payments ensuring accuracy, timeliness and financial controls

Key requirements

• Commercial awareness with strong numeracy and experience with complex financial models
• Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain relationships with suppliers and external organisations
• IT literacy with Excel proficiency and ability to present results in PowerPoint
• Influencing skills to align internal teams and suppliers with commercial objectives
• Track record of idea generation and meeting goals/timelines
• Functional/operational knowledge of PC plants and/or potatoes
