Overview

In this role you will drive user-centered UX design for government defence projects, collaborating with cross-disciplinary experts to deliver intuitive interfaces and engaging experiences. You’ll shape concepts from research to prototypes, working in a hybrid Deloitte Digital team focused on innovative, secure digital solutions. Responsibilities

  • Apply design-led problem solving to client challenges
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary digital experts to innovate
  • Create UX deliverables including UI designs, interactive prototypes, wireframes, and information architecture
  • Assist in personas, scenarios, and customer journey maps
  • Synthesize user and stakeholder research to shape UX concepts and outcomes
  • Design and run workshops and co-creation sessions
  • Review existing systems to identify UX issues and propose recommendations
  • Assist in scoping and planning UX projects, selecting appropriate tools and techniques
  • Contribute to ongoing enhancements of Deloitte Digital UX methodologies
  • Monitor wider UX and technology trends
  • Work effectively in diverse, inclusive teams

Key requirements

  • Understanding of end-to-end UX design process and user-centered design principles
  • Interest in Defence and Security sector within Government
  • Passion for creating intuitive interfaces that solve business problems
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UX design experience
  • Proficiency with UX design and prototyping tools (Sketch, Figma or similar)
  • Experience in developing rapid prototypes
  • Familiarity with UX trends and methodologies
  • Ability to prioritise and plan workload to meet deadlines
  • Desire to contribute to the broader success of the Experience Design team
