Overview
As Investment Manager, you will assess, execute and manage renewable energy investments (solar, wind, BESS) across Europe. You will work with senior leaders, technical teams and commercial stakeholders to translate project-level insights into value. This role blends financial discipline with technical understanding to influence grid, PPAs, EPC and delivery decisions that impact investment outcomes. You will help shape asset-level and platform-level strategy in a high-growth environment. You will be challenged to deliver practical, commercial analysis at pace and scale.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate new renewable energy opportunities across European markets
- Build, review and challenge financial models for solar, wind and BESS assets
- Lead investment analysis, valuation and commercial assessment
- Support due diligence, documentation and investment committee materials
- Collaborate with technical, engineering, development and commercial teams
- Assess project-level assumptions around grid, PPAs, EPC, construction and performance
- Support acquisition processes and portfolio growth initiatives
- Develop repeatable investment frameworks, processes and decision tools
- Contribute to asset-level and platform-level investment strategy
- Assist senior leadership on broader strategic initiatives
Key requirements
- 8–12 years’ experience in renewable energy, infrastructure investment, project finance, M&A or related field
- Strong financial modelling, valuation and investment analysis skills
- Experience with renewable energy or infrastructure transactions
- Exposure to solar, wind, BESS, grid, PPAs, EPC, construction, supply chain or asset delivery
- Strong commercial judgement and ability to challenge assumptions
- Ability to operate in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong communication skills with both financial and technical stakeholders
