Overview

As Product Manager for terminal controls, compliance and policy, you own the governance layer for the Bloomberg Terminal, including settings, permissions and admin experience. You collaborate with Risk, Legal, Compliance and Engineering to scale controls across the AI-enabled Terminal ecosystem. You will define policies for user access and AI content handling, collaborating with enterprise clients and cross-functional teams. This role offers impact by shaping enterprise governance at scale in a rapidly growing AI-enabled product. You’ll be a key driver of a cohesive, compliant user experience across AI, MCP and connectors.

Responsibilities

  • Own the enterprise controls, compliance and administrative-policy experience for the Bloomberg Terminal, including AI capabilities
  • Define and design user and firm-admin controls, entitlements, defaults and policy options
  • Own product and engineering requirements, coordinating with Risk, Security, Legal, Compliance, Responsible AI and partner teams
  • Ensure controls meet contractual rights and regulations in partnership with Legal and Compliance
  • Oversee the communication strategy and define KPIs, using telemetry to shape strategy
  • Engage directly with enterprise clients and Bloomberg product teams to validate governance against firm behavior

Key requirements

  • Strong product management experience in enterprise software, SaaS or platform products
  • Experience building controls-, compliance-, privacy-, or governance-related product capabilities (permissions, entitlements, admin policies)
  • Understanding of enterprise software administration, admin-vs-user permissioning, and platform integrations
  • Knowledge of compliance, privacy and AI governance concepts (GDPR, CPRA, EU AI Act, DPIAs) and regulatory obligations for financial institutions
  • Working knowledge of AI/LLM-based products and content flow in AI systems
  • Ability to collaborate across Risk, Security, Legal, Compliance, Responsible AI, Engineering and partner teams without formal authority
