Overview
In this role you will coordinate the delivery of commitments with third parties and oversee the design and implementation of Building Structural Mitigation Measures. You will conduct inspections and manage effects on listed buildings within the tunnel zone, while liaising with LU, designers, tier 2 contractors and third parties to ensure timely, compliant delivery. You will maintain design documentation, risk registers and monitoring inputs, driving alignment across consents, safety and commercial teams. Responsibilities
- Owner of the Commitments Register and ensure timely deliverables
- Coordinate design completion of Structural Mitigation Measures for LU and stakeholders
- Liaise with consents team on design, implementation and inspections
- Plan and coordinate inspections and manage design, safety, programme, cost and environmental risks
- Maintain design documentation and correlate information from Damage Assessments and inspections
- Undertake site inspections to verify works meet design
- Raise non-conformances and implement corrective actions
- Review method statements and site procedures
- Coordinate logistics for site works (plant, materials, equipment)
- Maintain community relations and assist with subcontractor procurement
- Inspect buildings in the tunnel zone of influence and report on progress
- Coordinate close-out of mitigation measures, including documentation and stakeholder liaison
- Work with Commercial and Change teams to agree budgets and with Cost teams on forecasts
Key requirements
- Degree or higher in surveying, engineering, mining or construction
- HNC/HND or equivalent with substantial technical engineering experience
- Experience in a similar role in construction or mining
- Knowledge of relevant safety legislation
- Appropriate CSCS card
