Sales Development Representative

Company: Uncountable Inc.
Apply for the Sales Development Representative
Location: London
Job Description:

Uncountable is the #1 AI platform for end-to-end product development, covering R&D, QC, QMS, and PLM. We help scientists and product teams in materials science, chemistry, and etc move faster — from first experiment to finished product.

We’re looking for motivated graduates to join our UK sales team as an SDR. This isn’t a shadowing role or a coffee-making internship. From week one, you’ll be generating real pipeline, working directly with founders and senior sales leaders, and building skills that will define your career in tech.

Responsibilities

  • Drive pipeline through cold calling — phone is your primary weapon here, so confidence on a call matters
  • Find and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting (email, LinkedIn, and cold calls)
  • Work hand-in-hand with an experienced Account Executive to build and convert pipeline
  • Step in for introductory demos when the moment calls for it — not a core expectation, but you’ll be ready
  • Use industry-leading tools: Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong
  • Team up with marketing to align on messaging and campaigns
  • Learn the industries we serve — you don’t need a science degree, but curiosity is a must
  • Travel to conferences and events across the EU, with opportunities to go global (~25% of the time)

Qualifications

No prior sales experience required — but you’ll thrive here if you’re:

  • Driven and resilient — startups are fast-paced and targets are real
  • Organised and analytical — you’ll manage a large lead pool and need to prioritise smartly
  • A natural communicator — confident reaching out cold and representing the brand
  • Genuinely curious — about tech, science, and how businesses work

It’s a plus if you:

  • Speak another language besides English
  • Have a science, chemistry, or materials-related background
  • Have done any cold outreach, sales, or customer-facing work (even part-time or university societies count)
  • Have worked or interned at a startup before

Compensation

  • 33 days annual leave (25 + 8 bank holidays)
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Workplace pension via NEST (5% employee + 5% employer match)
  • Access to Enterprise Plan with Claude
  • Free lunches, dinners, and socials
  • Hybrid work with access to our London office (Borough Market)
  • Direct mentorship from founders and senior sales leaders
  • Any questions please reach out to the hiring manager Bill Qin
  • Merit-based promotion — we move fast with people who perform

You must have the right to work in the UK. We are not able to sponsor visas for this role.
