Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure across public cloud and hybrid environments
• Automate management of cloud resources and deployments
• Advise developers and peer teams on cloud best practices
• Interpret and enforce security policies across systems
• Integrate cloud solutions with on-premises infrastructure
• Maintain and optimize mid-size cloud deployments (hundreds to thousands of nodes)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions

Key requirements

• Extensive knowledge of modern cloud environments (preferably AWS) and their security properties
• Strong OS, networking, and infrastructure as code experience (Terraform)
• Proficiency in coding infrastructure products in Python or Go
• Hands-on experience with design/maintenance of mid-size cloud deployments
• In-depth knowledge of storage and networking options across cloud providers
• Early-career responsibility in agile, high-change environments
