Regional Support Manager

Overview

As a Regional Support Manager at Avery Healthcare, you will back the Regional Director to oversee a cluster of care homes, driving quality and performance. You work to maintain compliance, uphold standards, and deliver excellent resident care while providing leadership in periods of GM absence. You’ll analyze quality and performance data to identify improvements and support regional teams in staff development. Responsibilities

• Support the Regional Director in overseeing a group of care homes to achieve performance targets and excellence
• Maintain compliance and uphold standards across key homes
• Stand in for General Managers during absences, ensuring continuity and strong leadership
• Identify challenges and recommend effective solutions in collaboration with the Regional Director
• Interpret quality and performance data and advise on actions to drive continuous improvement

Key requirements

• Proven experience in Care Home management roles
• Ideally clinical background or strong clinical knowledge
• Experience in supporting homes at a regional level
• Strong staff supervision and development skills
• NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) in Care for Care Homes
