Maintenance Engineer

Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer ready to take on a hands-on role where your technical expertise will keep operations running at their best? We’re currently looking for Electrically-biased Maintenance Engineers experience working within FMCG environments to join our client in the West Lothian area.

Shift pattern:

• Rotation 1: Mon – Fri, dayshift
• Rotation 2: Tue – Sat, dayshift

Responsibilities in your new role as Maintenance Engineer

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production equipment.
• Diagnosing and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Fault-finding on PLC-controlled machinery and automated systems.
• Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects.
• Ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

• Time-served Electrical Engineer or recognised engineering qualification.
• 18th Edition Certification
• Experience within a UK-based manufacturing, production, industrial, or FMCG environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• Knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, and control systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Immediate Right to Work in the UK.
• Up-to-date contact details for at least 2 references.
