Senior Business Consultant – R&D

Overview

In this role you will help life sciences clients bring treatments to patients faster by aligning technology, data, and AI with new operating models. You’ll be part of a global R&D BC practice delivering high-impact initiatives across Clinical, Regulatory, and Pharmacovigilance domains. You lead small projects, mentor 2–3 consultants, and drive growth through proposals and new opportunities. You’ll apply strategic problem solving to create tangible business value and deepen expertise in 1–2 functional areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead small-scale projects from design to delivery, ensuring high-quality client solutions
• Manage and coach project teams of 2–3 consultants
• Drive business development by leading proposals and identifying new opportunities within engagements
• Solve complex challenges for Life Sciences leaders using Veeva’s data, software, and AI insights
• Develop deep expertise across 1–2 functional areas while supporting multiple projects

Key requirements

• 5+ years in Life Sciences Consulting (Business or Management Consulting preferred)
• Proven expertise in Clinical Data/Operations, Regulatory, or Pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety
• Analytical mindset with strong quantitative and qualitative reasoning
• Clear communication of complex ideas to senior stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
