Overview
As a Senior Consultant in Regulatory Advice, you will deliver high‑quality regulatory guidance to clients in regulated sectors, lead workstreams or manage smaller engagements, and produce evidence-based recommendations on price controls and performance frameworks. You’ll partner with Principals and Directors while mentoring juniors, identifying opportunities to reduce risk and improve client effectiveness. This role sits within a collaborative, growth‑oriented Advisory Services group with hybrid working across UK offices.

Responsibilities
- Deliver regulatory advice on requirements, price controls, performance frameworks, and assurance
- Lead workstreams within large engagements or run smaller assignments independently
- Produce clear, evidence-based analyses and regulator- or board-facing documents
- Support development of junior colleagues and collaborate with Partners/Directors
- Identify opportunities to reduce client risk and improve efficiency
- Build internal and external relationships to guide client strategy and raise service visibility
Key requirements
- Experience in regulated sectors or regulatory consulting (utilities preferred)
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks, price controls, performance/incentive regimes
- Experience supporting price reviews or revenue-setting processes
- Familiarity with assurance, audit, or governance concepts
- Knowledge of benchmarking and performance measurement
- Experience facilitating workshops or engaging senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven reasoning
- Excellent written communication for regulator- or board-facing documents
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities
