Associate Medical Writer

Overview

In this Medical Writer role, you develop core project types for diverse audiences under guidance from senior staff. You translate data into scientifically sound, clear materials that meet client briefs and style guidelines, while progressing across projects to sharpen skills. You will brief editors and fellow team members, contribute to training, and help ensure deadlines are met. This position supports mentorship and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic agency setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop core project types for different audiences, formats, and creativity levels to meet client needs
• Evaluate scientific literature/data to identify potential interpretation concerns and propose solutions
• Translate data into high-quality, accurate, and grammatically correct materials in line with style guides
• Brief Editors, Editorial Coordinators, and Presentations Support as needed
• Meet required timelines and escalate concerns to identify solutions
• Participate in formal and on-the-job training and provide training feedback
• Support entry-level team members and share knowledge to inspire others
• Plan workload, manage multiple concurrent projects, and seek guidance when necessary
