Daviot Care Home is a large 90-bed care home located near Inverness, providing high-quality, person-centred care and support across a range of services. Within the home, we have a dedicated 23-bed mixed-age mental health unit, focused on promoting recovery, independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing in a safe and supportive environment.
We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Mental Health & Wellbeing Facilitator to join our team and make a positive difference in the lives of our residents.
In this rewarding role, you will develop and deliver a range of meaningful activities and opportunities that support residents’ physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing. This includes encouraging participation in exercise and movement sessions, mindfulness and relaxation practices, creative activities, community outings, social events, and self-care programmes.
About You
- Passionate about promoting mental health and wellbeing
- Creative, enthusiastic, and able to motivate others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in wellbeing, activities, health, social care, or mental health settings
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Holds a full UK driving licence
