Job Description:

Own tracking and conversion performance across every Clicky client account — from building GTM containers to the CRO fixes that make the data mean something. This isn’t a data-analyst role: it’s hands-on, AI-first, and grounded in real client websites, not dashboards and data sets.

About the role

We’re hiring a Web Analytics Specialist to take ownership of how well our clients’ sites capture and convert. You’ll work across the full client roster rather than one account, working with each client to define what needs to be tracked, building it out in Tag Manager, and getting code to a developer in near-final shape. Once tracking is live, you take ownership of what it tells you — if part of the site is underperforming, you’ll work out why and fix it. You’ll work closely with our Strategy Director and UX team on delegated work across accounts, and alongside the paid media and content specialists who own the traffic side of the funnel. AI tools are the expected first step here: you’ll be expected to leverage the latest models to build and implement work, supported and amended with your real hands‑on expertise.

What you’ll do

  • Audit client websites for every conversion point that should be tracked — forms, click-to-call, store/stockist locators, downloads, and more.
  • Build out GTM containers: events, triggers and consent management, with output code and dataLayer snippets ready for developer review.
  • Take ownership of conversion performance once tracking is live — diagnosing and fixing UX/CRO issues on underperforming pages and forms.
  • Use AI tools as your default way of working, across implementation, debugging and documentation.
  • Document how tracking is implemented so the wider team can understand and build on it.

About you

  • Comfortable identifying conversion points on a website and turning them into a tracking plan.
  • Hands‑on ability to build a GTM container — events, triggers, consent management.
  • Genuinely AI‑first: you reach for tools like Claude as your default method of working, not as an occasional shortcut.
  • A CRO/UX eye — you can explain why a form or page underperforms, not just that it does.
  • Comfortable producing clear technical documentation.
  • This isn’t a data-analyst role — you won’t need SQL, Python, or BI platforms like Power BI or Tableau, and we’re not looking for design‑tool/page‑builder experience either.

Nice to have

  • + Looker Studio or other dashboard‑building experience.
