Overview

In this role, you will join the Employment, Pensions & Immigration team in Bristol to advise NHS organisations, healthcare providers and related bodies on employment matters. You will manage complex litigation across tribunals and courts, and support multi-disciplinary teams on TUPE, workforce issues and due diligence. You will also deliver training, manage client relationships, and supervise junior colleagues while contributing to business development. Responsibilities

  • Advise NHS organisations, independent healthcare providers, and voluntary sector operators on employment matters
  • Manage complex litigation across tribunals, the EAT, Court of Appeal and High Court
  • Support multi-disciplinary teams on TUPE, workforce issues, and transactional due diligence
  • Deliver training and support client relationship management
  • Supervise junior colleagues and contribute to business development

Key requirements

  • 4+ years PQE in employment law
  • health and care sector experience preferred
  • strong litigation and/or advocacy skills
  • TUPE and transactional experience including drafting
  • experience with restructures, redundancy processes, and employee relations issues
  • strong drafting, accuracy and attention to detail
