Overview
Senior Manager leads the development and delivery of the Group’s Financial Crime Risk Assessment capability within the 2LoD. You will oversee enterprise-wide risk assessments across AML, sanctions and fraud, and partner with senior stakeholders to strengthen risk management and regulatory compliance. The role combines leadership with analytical insight and data-driven decision making to shape risk-based approaches. Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide financial crime risk assessments
- Lead customer risk assessment methodologies
- Lead third-party risk assessment methodologies
- Provide oversight, challenge and insight to strengthen financial crime risk management
- Support regulatory compliance activities
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business
- Translate data into informative insights to influence risk strategies
- Drive financial crime transformation initiatives
- Engage with regulatory bodies and uphold industry best practices
Key requirements
- Significant Financial Crime experience in banking or a regulated environment
- Strong expertise in financial crime risk assessments
- Knowledge of AML, sanctions and fraud risk management
- Leadership experience in a 2nd line risk or oversight function
- Senior stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Experience using data, analytics and MI to support risk-based decisions
- Knowledge of enterprise-wide risk assessment methodologies
- Familiarity with customer and third-party risk frameworks
