Creative Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead electrical design for high-profile commercial, retail and master planning projects from concept through contractor sign-off. You’ll work closely with lighting designers to create aesthetically compelling spaces, while managing client relationships and guiding the design team. The position is client-facing and sits at the intersection of architecture and engineering, with a focus on sustainability. This is an opportunity to shape iconic spaces in Central London within a forward-thinking consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from early concept to contractor monitoring and sign-off
• Design predominately low voltage electrical systems and coordinate with lighting designers
• Manage client relationships and ensure project delivery
• Direct and mentor the project design team to achieve targets
• Collaborate with Directors to balance design excellence with project constraints

Key requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Experience managing projects in client-facing roles
• Experience on commercial, retail and master-planning projects
• Passion for sustainability in the built environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
