Corporate Solicitor Partner Level

Overview

In this role you will lead advisory work for a growing Corporate & Commercial practice, focusing on international and multinational clients. You will help consolidate and expand commercial offerings across a broad range of matters, from M&A to governance and cross-border issues. You will work directly with clients, including non-UK entities, shaping strategic transactions and corporate solutions. This is an opportunity to influence a busy practice while leveraging a strong client bank and international reach.

Responsibilities

• Advising on mergers and acquisitions and strategic investments
• Managing capital raising and debt finance matters
• Handling shareholder arrangements, joint ventures, and private equity funding
• Counsel on start-ups, restructuring, and corporate insolvency
• Managing investor exits, share schemes, and director agreements
• Overseeing sale/purchase of shares and company assets; cross-border sales of goods/services
• Advising on consumer law, product liability, outsourcing, and agency/distribution
• Providing guidance on data protection, compliance/regulatory, IP, IT, and e-commerce
• Ensuring corporate governance and company secretarial duties
• Direct client advisory work with international clients where English law practices apply

Key requirements

• 7+ years’ PQE in corporate and commercial law
• Experience across a broad suite of corporate and commercial matters
• Comfort advising clients directly, including those unfamiliar with English law
